Education:

James graduated from the University of Cincinnati where he earned both an Associate of Science and a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. He also maintains various Technical and Legal Technology certifications from Microsoft, LexisNexis, Sage Software and Amicus Attorney.

Experience:

During his 10 years in the Polymer and Flavor Sciences he worked to computerize and automate various laboratory instrumentation and information tracking systems. His innovative approach to addressing the needs of laboratories helped propel him into the area of network consulting. After founding SpliceNet with a colleague, he quickly started focusing on specialization in Legal Technologies.

Information Technology consulting is at the heart of James' passion and expertise. His experience spans network, desktop, and infrastructure technologies of SMB (Small-Mid Size Business) and Law Firms. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Microsoft Small Business Specialist that has presented at numerous Microsoft engagements and other Legal Community events including the Cincinnati Paralegals Association Annual Seminar, the Cincinnati Bar Association Legal Technology Workshop, and the Association of University and College Auditors Conference. In conjunction with the Cincinnati Bar Association he annually presents a Legal Technology Training Series specifically designed to increase end-user's knowledge of their Case Management, Document Automation and Billing/Accounting software. He currently holds certifications for Time Matters, Billing Matters, Timeslips, Amicus Attorney, LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage and PCLaw making him one of the most accredited certified legal technology consultants in the country. His expertise has won him national recognition from Microsoft and has earned him the honor of being an Instructor at the University of Cincinnati Paralegal Studies and Usability Trainer to LexisNexis' First-Level Time Matters and Billing Matters technical support departments.

Community and Personal:

James has enjoyed over 12 years of marriage to his wife Nicole. Their greatest accomplishments are their 3 children Jackson (2001), Benjamin (2003) and Abigail (2006). Both Nicole and James are native Cincinnatians. Their family's faith in God is central to their lives as they are active members in their church and community. James is the Director of Upward Basketball and Cheerleading in Maineville where he oversees 300 players and more than 70 volunteers.

Education:

David graduated Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati in June, 2001, earning a Bachelor's of Business Administration. David then attended the University of Notre Dame Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May, 2004.

Experience:

While an undergraduate, David worked in Arthur Andersen's Computer Risk Management Practice Group. There he specialized in information system audits, physical and electronic security audits, disaster recovery and business continuity planning for SMB (Small-Mid Size Business) to Fortune 500 companies.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame Law School, David became a Corporate Tax Associate at Dinsmore & Shohl. It was there that David learned the fundamentals of legal practice and saw how a successful law firm supports its human assets with technology to provide high level service to its clients.

Later David joined a boutique Tax Litigation Firm in Blue Ash, Ohio as an associate. At the firm David took charge of their "Knowledge Management" and implemented both Case Management and Document Management systems for the firm. He also worked with marketing consultants to develop branding, marketing strategy, and website revitalization for one of their sister companies.

Realizing his strengths as an attorney, marketer and technology expert, David soon joined SpliceNet as an Applications Specialist. David focuses on assisting firms with the implementation of Case Management, Billing, Accounting, Document Management and Document Automation solutions. He also assists law firms in developing and revising policies and procedures for proper firm operations with respect to their technologies.

David has worked extensively with many legal applications, including Time Matters, Billing Matters, PCLaw and Amicus Attorney. David is a Certified Independent Consultant for LexisNexis' Time Matters, Practice Advantage and PCLaw. David remains an attorney licensed to practice in Ohio.

Community and Personal:

David married his wife Christine in November of 2004. They are active members of the Donauschwaben Cultural Society where David sat on the Board of Trustees from 2006 through 2008. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for the Cincinnati Steam Baseball Club, a charitable organization that provides collegiate players an opportunity to play at the highest level of amateur baseball during the summer and to give back to their communities.
